After receiving treatment at a top-tier facility and subsequently going to work there, I became uncomfortable at seeing a significant unmet need in the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction.
I was blessed that I had access to wonderful professionals who continued to care for and nurture my recovery, long after I left treatment. Rarely were those people directly involved in treatment programs, but they were sensitive to the unique challenges that I faced in recovering from addiction.
So, I started asking questions to people involved in addiction treatment. Namely, why isn't there a program that unifies the resources that I was blessed to receive. The answer was always the same. "Because no one has started one."
So I did.

Delta Recovery's mission is to help alcoholics, addicts and their loved ones to break free from a life of fear and dependency and walk into a life of freedom and meaning.
